Our Autism Learning Centers provide a safe and welcoming place where children can learn, play, and grow. Through fun activities, specialized resources, and peer interactions, kids build important skills, confidence, and friendships in an engaging environment.
We bring ABA therapy right to your home, where your child feels most comfortable. Our caring team works closely with your family to create a personalized plan that helps your child learn new skills, make progress, and thrive every day.
We work with schools to provide caring professionals who support students with autism and developmental needs. Together with teachers, we help children learn, build positive behaviors, and succeed in the classroom.
Our licensed psychologists provide clear, compassionate evaluations to help families better understand their child’s strengths and needs. With accurate, timely diagnoses, we’re here to help guide you and your child to get the support they need.
Our Early Start program helps infants and toddlers grow, connect, and thrive from the very beginning. We guide parents with practical strategies and support each child’s unique needs in communication, movement, and sensory development.

Throughout her career, Melissa has been driven by a shared mission among this organization: to make a profound, positive impact on the lives of others. She is thrilled to bring this passion for meaningful change to her work at CAS, where she continues to work towards creating lasting, positive transformations in the lives of those we serve. Hannah is a passionate BCBA who has been serving children with autism for 5 years. After student teaching in a substantially separate ABA-based preschool classroom, she was motivated to pursue her BCBA credential to be able to better support children on the spectrum in a 1:1 setting. She worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for 2 years, then earned her BCBA and has since been working to directly support clients and staff in center-based services. Her areas of skill include decreasing severe problem behavior, teaching functional skills, and building strong rapport with her clients. She is extremely passionate about keeping her clients happy, relaxed, and engaged and building strong relationships with them to be able to best support their skill development. At CAS, Hannah has served as an RBT, Clinical Supervisor, and now Center Clinical Manager at the New Bedford Center, where she works to maintain high clinical quality and best outcomes for clients.
At Community Autism Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, we understand that no two families approach autism treatment the same way. That’s okay! To make sure your family gets the most personalized ABA therapy, we offer both center-based and at-home programs to suit your lifestyle and goals. See all areas we serve below or contact our team to learn more about our in-home services.
We accept children from the ages of 18 months to 6 years old.
All children require assessment and approval from their insurance to start services. The overall process can take 4-6 weeks.
Currently there is no waitlist at our center location.

Our centers follow a play-based model where children learn through play in individual and group settings, including indoor/outdoor playgrounds, a preschool-style classroom, and open play areas with toys like train sets, a play kitchen, and costumes.
Similar to traditional childcare, our schedule includes play, snacks, meals, small group activities (circle time, crafts, imaginative play), and naps. What sets us apart is that each child is paired with a behavior technician who implements a personalized treatment plan under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, fostering communication, social skills, play, attention, and independence. Our centers are fun, engaging, and child-motivated!
Enrollment for Summer 2025 is now closed. Please stay tuned for Summer 2026 dates and locations.
